Ferrari P540 Superfast Aperta

For the next few posts, we're going feature some of the custom customer cars built by Ferrari's Special Projects programme. This one was commissioned by Edward Watson and built in 2009. It is based on the Ferrari 599 GTB.

The 2009 project was inspired by an earlier custom Ferrari, built by Carrozzeria Fantuzzi in 1964 and based on the Ferrari 330 LMB. The custom wraparound windshield is amazing.

Carrozzeria Fantuzzi also created this lovely roadster, when they "rebodied" a wrecked 1961 Ferrari 250 GTE 2+2 in 1965.
